Referencing the rocky landscape of mountains and deserts, the Strata rug features a rich texture of undulating lines in multiple layers of natural tones. Hand-tufted from the highest quality 100% New Zealand wool, each row of fabric is finely chiseled, bringing intensity and depth to this rug.
Chiselling is a key step in the manufacturing of this rug, which consists of sculpting the tufted fabric to create a relief or in the case of Strata, to mark a change in colour. This step requires exceptional skill and precision from the maker. With a palette of rich and contrasting colours, the Strata rug is available in 2 colours: hazelnut (green and brown) and powder (pink, brown and red).
