In Vitro Unplugged
Designed by Philippe Starck for Flos, the In Vitro Outdoor Lighting collection comprises a series of glowing glass lanterns that appear to illuminate autonomously, like pure architectural volumes of light.
This elegant portable light is perfect for illuminating evenings outdoors in the garden, terrace or balcony. In Vitro can be moved easily to different locations around the home with its integrated silicone  handle and is safe to be used outside thanks to its IP65 rating. With versatility at the core, In Vitro Unplugged requires no plugs or wiring, ensuring total freedom of movement.
Powder coated in 7 textured finishes: white, forest green, pale green, deep brown, terracotta, black and anthracite.
The light emitted from the lamp is soft, diffuse and free of strong contrasts thanks to the Edge lighting technology, in which the point-like LEDs are hidden by an opalescent diffuser, ensuring an even illumination. Meanwhile, the integrated dimmer ensures that finding the right ambience is simple. Rechargeable via micro cable guaranteeing continuous lighting up to 6 hours.Â

Materials: Opalescent diffuser integrated in the head and outer protective glass in transparent borosilicate. Die-cast and extruded aluminium frame with a chemical conversion process to protect against atmospheric agents.
Integrated LED light source 3000k with Edge Lighting technology to guarantee perfectly uniform lighting. Portable version equipped with handle for transport.
Dimmer driver 5/100–240 V/50-60 Hz integrated into the body of the device with optical touch sensor on the head to regulate the brightness in 4 steps: 100% – 50% – 3% – OFF. Rechargeable via micro USB-C cable, 120 cm long.Â
