Designed by Alessandro Mendini for Alessi, the iconic Alessandro Corkscrew has been reinvented in a special new edition, covered by selected designers, such as Viennese fashion designer Arthur Arbesser, and Italian spatial design team, Studio Temp. Anna G has become a cult figure, personifying Alessi’s collection of designer kitchenware.
Alessandro Mendini: “My grandmother would open a bottle of wine at the table, and it always seemed a kind of ritual ballet: the turning of the head, the arms moving up and down, the sound of the cork popping from the bottle.”
Materials: AlkiPaper® body. Mechanism in chrome-plated zamak. The Liquid design features some glow-in-the-dark details.
